FAQs

Is Wishing Well Therapy in-network with insurance?

Our practice is out-of-network. Some insurance companies provide reimbursements for out-of-network services. We provide a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

For more information about this process, contact us or reference this article

Companies such as Reimbursify help facilitate the claims and reimbursement process for you so you can focus on YOU, not the paperwork!

Are there advantages to using an out-of-network therapist?

Absolutely! To discuss these benefits and more, contact us today!

Discover the Freedom of Therapy Without a Diagnosis

Traditional diagnostic models often focus on identifying and treating weaknesses or deficits. However, at Wishing Well Therapy, our approach centers around uncovering and harnessing your strengths. By shifting the focus to your inherent abilities and personal resources, we empower you to tap into your potential and cultivate meaningful change in your life.  Therapy without a diagnosis provides you with the opportunity to explore and understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without fitting them into predefined labels. Free from diagnostic constraints, you can discover your authentic self, gaining a deeper understanding of who you are beyond any clinical classification.

Increased Privacy and Confidentiality

We understand the importance of prioritizing our clients' privacy and confidentiality, regardless of insurance coverage. By operating outside the realm of insurance, we can provide increased privacy and discretion to our clients. Without third-party involvement, information about our clients and their therapy sessions remains strictly confidential. This allows our clients to feel more at ease, knowing that their personal details and therapeutic progress are protected. Our focus is solely on the well-being and privacy of our clients, ensuring a safe and secure environment for their therapeutic journey.
NOTICE: Wishing Well Therapy does not guarantee absolute privacy and confidentiality due to legal and ethical obligations. However, we take extensive measures to protect your information and maintain the strictest confidentiality standards.

Do you accept clients who are covered by Princeton University Student Health Plan (SHP)?

Yes! Wishing Well Therapy is an in-network provider for the Princeton University Student Health Plan. If you ‘re a Princeton University student or covered dependent we can bill the plan directly-so you’re only responsible for any SHP co-pay or co-insurance shown on your card.

What are accepted forms of payment?

All sessions are private-pay. Payment is due at the time of service and processed electronically via our secure HIPAA compliant online payment system.  We accept all major credit cards as well as flexible or health savings account (FSA/HSA) cards.

Please contact us for current session fees.

What are practice policies?

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact us to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to attend without notice or late cancelled sessions are subject to charge.

If a session is canceled after the 24-hour cancellation period, the full fee applies. Insurance does not reimburse late cancel fees.

You will be charged the full fee if you do not show up to your scheduled session. Insurance does not reimburse no show fees.
